Judy's standing on a snowy bridge, and you can see all the hot steam behind her.
The edge of the "cliff" over the lake, with some nice long icicles that have formed, and more of the ever-present steam.

We're photographing Bobby here in an age-defying mist filter, to enhance his natural good looks!

Photographs just don't do justice to the color in these pools. This one is the deepest blue-green color, obviously quite hot from the steam arising from it.

After a total journey of 39 miles in the Bombardier torture chambers, we arrive at Old Faithful and the Snow Lodge where we are to stay. It's a nice enough place; some of the rooms have private baths, others shared baths down the hall, but perfectly adequate and quite reasonably priced. There's a big family living room with fireplace and game tables where everyone gathers each night.
