Christmas 1994 in Yellowstone: Still More Snowmobiling

Here's a nice view of some of the surroundings of our snowmobiling trek. A lot of wide-open countryside with deep deep snow.

At the end of the snowmobiling trail, there's a wonderful natural hot pool, fueled by the geothermal activity in the area.

A bit better view of the hot pool, with some nutty swimmers. It's really strange how in the midst of all this snow you'll still find some spots completely bare of snow because of the heat underneath, covered in wild-colored mosses.
