Lessa Family Sail Trip, August 11, 2007Dawn and I decided to take my parents on a dinner sail cruise around Galveston Bay for a combined Father's Day/Mother's Day gift. The original date got rained out by one of our horrific recent storms. On our second outing, we had "sultry" temperatures, lightning storms that forced us to stay close to shore, then a sudden becalming that prompted an attempt to get underway by engine power, followed by the discovery that the engine had died and requiring a TOW back to harbor.
